Our Language Arts block consists of a variety of reading and writing instruction through a "balanced
approach. During our literacy block, each child spends time in whole group instruction, direct instruction in small guided
groups, independent reading and writing, shared literacy with the intention of working from each child's level and strengths.
Research based strategies are implemented within precise, sequenced lessons.
